| Current Project: "We the Vanguard Crew Of 2009-10 are planning to put a 2003 Mustang Mach-1, 32 valve dual over head cam motor- 5 speed Transmission, 4 wheel anti-lock brakes...With only 18,000 mileage- into a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. When others go for an engine swap we are going to take everything from the motor and interior of the Mach 1 and put it into the 65." |

The original Cobra Kit Car Project team was taken to Dallas,
Texas. The Vanguard Techs were invited by Carroll Shelby-
known for designing the Shelby Cobra Mustang To participate in
a very well known and celebrated Cobra show!
This was a great honor. Vanguard's shop program continues to
strive for opportunities such as this one every year.
